Dreamily amazing

It’s clean, good food, beautiful views, warm showers and the staff is top notch.

Hawkers on the beach wouldn’t listen when I asked to be left alone.

Friendly and courteous staff. Very clean beach. Rare in Ghana. Grounds was very picturesque. Nice blend of animals, golf, and other activities.

Needed an outlet next to the desk. Internet was problematic. No access.

What was the highlight of Coconut Grove Beach Resort

This is a quite delightful place located right on the beach. When I slept late one morning and missed breakfast, the staff went to the back and gave me breakfast anyway. There were some wonderful dancers there on a Saturday evening and they then showed on an outdoor screen a soccer game that the guests all gathered around and enjoyed. I will return to this resort!

Breakfast buffet was excellent, great variety and local food options.

Checkin process took close to 20minutes. :-( The first room I was assigned had a faulty AC, however I was moved to a new room.

The exterior part of,the hotel looked good.

Attendant told us they dont work with booking.com so our booking was not valid. Eventually after insisting she gave us a room different from the one we haf booked for. Rooms were too small , anaesthetically not nice ,bedsheet not clean. Baththroom not nice,nothing in there except a small bar of soap.no floor towel. Make shift restaurant was overcrowded and furniture not condusive for eating

Great beach front and overall decor.

Wi fi was unstable , food took long time to come, I don't know why a Diet Coke is 15 ghs and a regular coke is 7- very strange pricing. Also the 'lifeguard ' job was to keep people from going into the water, which is unexpected for a beach. There was no life saving floats in sight.

A quiet and calm environment

The water flowing in the tap was very dirty and couldn't bath or brush our teeth. When I called the reception to report they only told me to wait a while for the water to settle. That I cannot understand why a famed hotel should have this kind of attitude to ensuring visitors have value for money and minimum comfort. When you decide to pay for your bill with debit bank card they still take 5% on the value for using your bank card and this no one informed us that they require cash payment. This is fraud and must be addressed.

Rooms were very tidy and the AC and ceiling fan kept things cool at night. The food was quite good. We were a large school group and they did buffet style meals for us that had plenty of variety and plenty of food for 40+ teenagers. The staff was very helpful with the little things that always seem to pop up on such a trip.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The pool was great and much appreciated as it was so hot!

The flies at breakfast were a nuisance, and maybe some fans or netting around the area to deter them.

The reception. They said they didn't habe the booking reserve but only after we said we didn't paid yet. The when we said we will pay with VISA they ask us more 5% and when we said that in that case we will pay using booking they joke with us that we could try but we will see that we won't have rooms avaiable to lodge... the room: - the washroom: sink was stuck, leaking and no mixing tap; - the shower: something with 50 years old.... - the bed: fake king size. it was two sigle joined with horribles matresses the air conditioned was leaking and didin't cool well. internet only worked when they want... a lot o food and drinks finished from meal to meal...

I liked the beach and the tranquility u experience there

I'd been to Coconut Grove from London two years ago and absolutely loved it, so I recommended it to my friends. This year I came back with my partner and thought it best to come enjoy your hospitality again. This time, I drove from Kumasi and checked in after 12 midnight due to heavy rains and terrible traffic. I was so tired, I didn't get to explore much on the first day. Unfortunately, my partner's mum got taken to the hospital at night so we had to leave at 1oclock at night and even after speaking to management, we were charged the full price. It left a sour taste in my mouth so I doubt I will be coming there again or recommending Coconut Grove to my friends.

The rooms were very clean, cool and comfortable. The lifeguards were excellent. They were super vigilant with our kids, especially on the beach. We loved the stables and horse-riding option.
